Hey, got another paint question for my old 78 20 ft cc. i'd like to repaint the flooring with a heavy textured paint. the sealant (or maybe silicone) around the coffin box/fuel cell and center console looks worn and i figure i'll need to reseal as well.. Great running boat ,(mercury 100 2 stroke) lower unit ,all fuel lines, fuel pump, prop, trim motor have all been replaced the end of last season. depending on how many people and gear it will do 25-35mph. used every other weekend all season. needs a bath and maybe a little floor paint. great fishing vessel. clean title, trailer included.. Deep vee center console t top boat. hydro trim tabs, garmin gps and depth finder. boat is a 1985 model but does not look it, the engine is a 2000 mercury 200 salt water series with less than 300 hrs. many extras,boat takes water very good. custom paint and graphics. this is our family fishing boat, but i have fished king tournaments with it..
Console is a new silverhawk euro console with large door allowing for a potty (step down in the console). console was cored with 3/8 inch plywood for stiffness and strength to facilitate the t top being attached on the console and not to the floor. 3 inch x 3 inch fiberglass angle bracing glassed to the floor to allow for side bolting of.
