I got tired of waiting for the wind to blow my r/c speed boat in if it quit out in the water and some times the wind wasn't blowing or it was blowing the wro.... It's a fun way to retrieve dead boats, but usually the limiting factor is the battery life of the boat, and the ability of the boat to bring the stalled boat back to the shore; it's often a slow and tedious process. so what's the answer? merge both techniques and create the ultimate boat retrieval system!.
This is our 4th attempt at the best recovery boat in the world at this time i think we nailed it. there twin 90mm edf units with 36mm motors at 1600kv.. Re: low cost recovery boat yea i gotta second that. i consider myself a strong swimmer( or was in my younger days lol) i spent 6 yrs on the local swim team, was a certified life guard, spent my entire life in or on the water, and i don't swim after my boats..
